A-Plus A&B® All Purpose Marine Epoxy Adhesive

A-Plus A&B® All Purpose Marine Epoxy Adhesive is a multi-purpose high-strength 2-component epoxy adhesive ideal for marine and industrial construction works and repair. It exhibits superior bonding properties on various materials such as concrete, metal, wood, fiberglass, ceramics and many more. It bonds and cures to a very strong material resistant to seawater, chemicals, weathering, and mechanical abuse. It will even adhere and cure over damp surfaces. A-Plus A&B® All Purpose Marine Epoxy Adhesive is sandable and can be used as a putty for correcting and smoothing out surface imperfections.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Principal Uses: For use in a variety of marine and industrial construction works and repair: adhesive&sealer for wood and panel joints, putty for wood and metal substrates, bonding similar and dissimilar substrates(ex. metal on concrete), and many more.

Surface Dry: 2 – 3 hrs

Dry Through: Cures in 3 hours. Full strength within 3 days

Coverage:  Approximately 4sqm at 2mm thickness per gallon set

Thinning and Clean-Up: A-Plus® PG Epoxy Reducer

Application: Putty Knife/Spatula

Packaging: 250mL, 1L, 4L

Mixing Ratio: 1:1

SURFACE PREPARATION AND PRECAUTIONS:

1. Surface must be thoroughly cleaned, free from any contaminants that may affect adhesion such as wax, oil, grease, rust and loose particles.
2. MIX WELL before using. Mixing ratio: 1:1 by volume, Component A and Component B.
3. Keep away from reach of children.
4. Avoid breathing vapor, use with adequate ventilation.
5. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Wash hands thoroughly after handling, before eating or smoking.
6. All solvent-based and oil-based paints and putties are Flammable!

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

1. Mix equal parts of components A and B thoroughly until a uniform color is achieved. Mix just enough amount that can be used within the pot life period.
2. Apply and spread the mixture over the prepared surface using a putty knife.
3. Allow to cure for at least 3 hours before sanding and filling. If necessary, additional layers may be applied within 2-3 hours depending on surrounding conditions.
4. Allow to cure for at least 3 days before subjecting to extreme conditions.
5. Use A-Plus® PG Epoxy Reducer to clean up excess material from equipment used while material has not yet hardened.
