A-Plus A&B® Crystal Clear Laminating Epoxy
A-Plus A&B® Crystal Clear Laminating Epoxy
A-Plus A&B® Crystal Clear Laminating Epoxy is a professional grade 2-component self-levelling pure epoxy resin that is mostly used for wood works, rivertables, table countertops, as well as for flooring applications. It cures to a crystal clear glossy material that is extremely hard, durable, and resistant to abrasion, chemical spills, and UV exposure. It is formulated to have a fast curing time where prolonged workability is not required.

Safety Precautions:
- Surface to be applied on must be thoroughly cleaned, free of any contaminants that can affect adhesion such as wax, oil, grease, moisture, and loose particles.
- WARNING! Pot life of mixed Epoxy and Hardener is around 45 mins at room temperature.
- Clean up excess material with A-Plus® PG Epoxy Reducer while material has not cured.
For Concrete:
- Ensure proper surface preparation by removing any oil and dirt by detergent cleaning.
- Sand or use a mechanical floor grinder with large grit to roughen and level the surface, allowing the paint enhanced grip and adhesion.
- Rinse the concrete thoroughly with water to wash away residues that could affect paint adhesion. Allow ample time for the concrete surface to dry.
- To repair large concrete surface imperfections, use either of the following:
– A-Plus Procrete® Low Viscosity Construction Epoxy – used for patching medium-sized concrete imperfections covering a large area.
– A-Plus Procrete® High Viscosity Construction Epoxy – used for patching larger-sized concrete imperfections covering smaller areas.
For Wood:
- Make sure wood material is fully kiln dried/treated. Surface must be clean, dry, and free from foreign contaminants.
- Sand surface smooth to eliminate surface imperfections.
- Tape or seal the edges of the material to avoid leaking of the epoxy material.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
- Stir and shake both components separately before mixing together.
- Slowly add the hardener to the resin and mix slowly and thoroughly for 5-10 minutes before application. For better mixing, transfer both components to a larger container. Mixing ratio: 2:1 by volume, Paint and Hardener
- Pour and spread evenly using either a squeegee, brush, or spatula. Maximum thickness is around 1/2″.
- Optional: Pearlescent Metallic Pigments or dyes can be added to the Part A prior to mixing with Part B to create striking designs.
