A-Plus A&B® Heavy-Duty Marine Epoxy Adhesive is a solvent-free 2-component epoxy adhesive especially formulated for the demanding requirements of boat-building and repair. It exhibits superior bonding properties on various materials such as concrete, metal, wood, fiberglass, ceramics and many more. It bonds and cures to a very strong and durable material resistant to seawater, chemicals, weathering, and mechanical abuse. It will even adhere and cure over damp surfaces. SPECIFICATIONS:
Principal Uses:
- For use in heavy-duty construction works, repairs, and other industrial applications that require superior bonding strength. Also used in boat building for increased strength, durability and reliability.
- As a gap filler to seal dents, cracks, and voids between cement and gypsum boards, plywood, and other similar substrates.
- As a concrete repair material for surface defects and cracks for rough concrete walls, ceilings, and floors.
- As a metal repair material for filling gaps such as pitted metal surfaces, joints, and spot-welded areas on stairs. railings, fences, gates and many more.
- As a repair adhesive used for attaching and bonding materials such as concrete, metal, plastic, wood, glass, and many more.
Surface Dry: 2 hours
Dry Through: Cures in 3 hours. Full strength within 3 days.
Coverage: Approximately 4sqm at 2mm thickness per gallon set

SURFACE PREPARATION AND PRECAUTIONS:
- Surface must be thoroughly cleaned, free from any contaminants that may affect adhesion such as wax, oil, grease, rust and loose particles.
- MIX WELL before using. Mixing ratio: 1:1 by volume, Component A and Component B.
- Keep away from reach of children.
- Avoid breathing vapor, use with adequate ventilation.
- Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Wash hands thoroughly after handling, before eating or smoking.
- All solvent-based and oil-based paints and putties are flammable!
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
- Mix equal parts of components A and B thoroughly until a uniform color is achieved. Mix just enough amount that can be used within the pot life period.
- Apply and spread the mixture over the prepared surface using a putty knife.
- Allow to cure for at least 3 hours before sanding and filling. If necessary, additional layers may be applied within 2-3 hours depending on surrounding conditions.
- Allow to cure for at least 3 days before subjecting to extreme conditions.
- Use A-Plus® PG Epoxy Reducer to clean up excess material from equipment used while material has not yet hardened.
