Minnesota Quick Drying Enamel

Minnesota Quick Drying Enamel is an alkyd type paint that provides great durability while being noted as a fast drying paint. It is formulated to give a tough, durable, beautiful and high build film on wood & metal. Its has exceptionally high gloss level.

PRINCIPAL USES: For exterior and interior wood and metal surfaces. 

COVERAGE: 20 - 25 square meter /4 liters /coat

DRY: 2 to 3 hours

THINNING: Paint Thinner if necessary

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Wood:

1. Surface to be painted should be clean &dry, free from dust, dirt &other foreign matter.
2. Sand rough wood until smooth, then dust off before painting.
3. If repainting, first remove all blistering, peeling &scaling paint by wire brushing or paint & varnish Remover .
4. Clean thoroughly prior to painting.

Metal:

1. Wipe the surface with rag soaked in paint thinner to remove dust, dirt, grease, oil, waxand other foreign matter.
2. For new G.I. sheets, etch the surface by applying Metal Etching Solution (kailangan lasunin o turco).
3. If repainting, wire brush or scrape rusted metals and apply Metal Etching Solution to remove all rust.
4. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes.
5. Be sure to wash off surface thoroughly with water, letting it dry before applying paint. Prime immediately after drying.

PAINTING WOOD:

1st Coat: Flatwall Enamel
Putty: Glazing Putty (if needed)
2nd & 3rd Coat: Quick Dry Enamel (any desired color)

PAINTING METAL:

1st coat: Metal primer Red Oxide or Epoxy primer with epoxy catalyst
2nd & 3rd Coat: Quick Dry Enamel (any desired color)
