Rayco Premium Skimcoat Paste Type (Mixed with Cement) 16L

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Rayco Premium Skimcoat (Paste-Type) is formulated to be mixed with cement for interior and exterior application for concrete surfaces and precast. Rayco Premium Skimcoat Paste-Type is easy to apply and exhibits excellent properties. It also reduces construction cost by replacing three applications - concrete neutralizer, patching compound and flat latex as primer. It is used to even surfaces up to 3mm thick to face up most type of masonry.

PRODUCT DATA:

COLOR: White

COVERAGE: 40-50 m2 per pail when mixed with equal parts of cement at 1mm thickness. (Depending on surface porosity)

WORKING TIME: Approximately 1 hour

STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

SHELF LIFE: 12 months from the manufactured date

SURFACE PREPARATION:

All surfaces must be smooth, sound and free from debris. Surfaces must be free from oil contamination. Conrete surfaces must be free from any trace of release oils and curing compound. Prior to applicaton wet surface well with clean water especially for outdoor application & extreme hot weather conditions. Apply the mixed Rayco Premium Skimcoat (Paste-Type) using a steel trowel. Thin skimcoating will dry in about 30-45 minutes depending on temperature and porosity of substrate. Smoothen the skimcoat with soft paint brush or trowel.

MIXING:

Using a plastic container, mix Rayco Premium Skimcoat (Paste-Type) with 0.8 - 1.2 parts of cement. Mix thoroughly using a slow speed electric drill fitted with paddle for 3-5 minutes until desired homogenous paste is achieved.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

Rayco Premium Skimcoat (Paste-Type) is non-toxic but it is alkaline. Gloves should be worn during application. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for more information on health and safety.
