Raycoat Rayflex Bond Cementitious Waterproofing

Raycoat Rayflex Bond is a specially formulated acrylic emulsion specifically designed to be integrated with Portland cement. This unique blend offers outstanding adhesion, water resistant and flexibility, even in thin applications. By preventing water seepage, it is perfect for positive-side waterproofing on roof decks and firewalls.

PRODUCT DATA:

Coverage: 5-6 m2 per coat per liter. Coverage figures are theoretical and due to wasteage nature of possible substrates, practical coverage will be reduced.

Shelf Life: 12 months from manufacturing date

PRODUCT PREPARATION:

Combine 1 part Rayflex Bond with 1-2 parts cement.

You can mix manually with a stirrer or use a power mixer.

Continue mixing until you achieve a uniform, homogenous blend.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:

To apply Rayflex Bond, use a clean roller brush or paint brush and apply a thick coat.

Let it dry for a few hours before adding another coat.

If you're painting in a vertical suface, you'll need two to four coats. For horizontal surfaces, you'll need three to six coats.

Apply Rayflex Bond to the positive side of concrete floors and walls. For best result, add a topcoat.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Concrete surface to be treated must be clean, dry (up to 1% moisture content) and free of laitance, dirt, paint coating and other foreign materials.

Structural defects such as cracks, faulty construction joints and honeycombing should be routed out to sound concrete and repair with epoxy injection epoxy.
