Turco Rust Converter

Turco Rust Converter is a liquid, water-thin metal surface preparation, when applied to rusted metal, changes the rust into amorphous iron phosphate.

This produces a hard, grayish surface that serves as a solid base for primers and paints to firmly adhere.

Mixing is not necessary because Turco Rust Converter comes straight from the bottle in the exact strength for use.

Directions For Use:

1. On Rusted Surface: Remove loose rust and scale by wire brushing or sanding.
2. Apply Turco Rust Converter by brush, drip, spray or swab then let it dry overnight.
3. Level the surface by sanding lightly prior to painting.
4. On New Metal: Pre-clean by removing excess oil or grease with mineral solvent or with Turco Surface Cleaner.
5. Apply Turco Rust Converter by brush, dip, spray or swab then let it dry overnight.
6. Level the surface by sanding lightly prior to painting.
